"When I moved here in Fresno I felt out of place, unsafe, and not welcomed. I've been through my up and downs and couldn't really get any sleep. When i was recommended to Hill's Document Assistant and meet these wonderful ladies that helped me out with my Restraining Order and other things that was going on in my life and they were very helpful. Everyday they called me to give me up dates on my case, it made me feel more and more safe. After everything got done, i finally got a real good asleep, my 14 yr old son even like there service. "I am very thankful and blessed to have HDA as advocates in my life at this crucial time. HDA has shown me compassion and understanding. They are professional and very thorough-providing me with the necessary legal documentation and guidance to submit my Temporary Restraining Order. When circumstances occurred where I had to resubmit my TRO documentation-my former sessions with Candice Hill gave me the confidence and know-how to resubmit immediately on the spot completing it within 2.5 hours in the courthouse's law library. Our efforts were awarded and recognized. The judge granted the TRO and full legal and physical custody of our 5 children. He also granted the Move Out Order which allowed me to leave the Marjaree Mason Center domestic violence protected shelter with my 5 children and return home in time for Christmas. I became blessed with guardianship and have a new addition to our family as now the oldest daughter and big sister.
